Die Jury der Filmfestspiele ist vor Ort

Die Filmfestspiele in Cannes finden vom 16. bis zum 21. Mai in Südfrankreich statt. Wer ist dieses Jahr in der Jury? Der Präsident der Jury für die Goldene Palme ist der brazilianische Regisseur Carlos Diegues. Der Regisseur Nanni Moretti steht für die Sparte Feature Films als Jury Präsident ein. Weitere Jurymitglieder sind: Schauspieler und Regisseur Tim Roth, Die Schauspielerin Hiam Abbass, die Regisseurin Andrea Arnold, die Schauspielerin Emmanuelle Devos, der Designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, Schauspielerin Diane Kruger, Schauspieler Ewan McGregor, Regisseur Alexander Payne und der Regisseur Raoul Peck. Und sie sind natürlich bereits vor Ort:

Thierry Frémaux, der seit 2007 Cannes-Festivalleiter ist, stimmt uns mit folgenden Worten auf das Event ein:

"Cannes belongs to each and every one of us who, year after year, from wherever we are and in our own individual way, contributes towards creating it step by step. It is only by constantly analyzing the Festival, adapting its function and encouraging debate about it that we will continue to make it the very best it can be. Cannes must be open to new ideas, while remaining faithful to its past, of course. Diversity can only enrich it. That´s what makes the Festival de Cannes our festival." Thierry Frémaux
